Canada Day Ride

Happy Belated Canada Day!!

Canada Day celebrations started early for us with the alarm clock sounding off at 4:45am. By 5:30 we were on the bikes, cruising down a deserted Cook Street, coffees in hand, on our way to catch the Coho Ferry across to Port Angeles. Something like sixty roadies were on that ferry!
All of us were heading over to challenge the notorious Hurricane Ridge climb, a brute of a hill that winds up 5200 feet through Olympic Park. It was a long haul, and it only got harder as the air got thinner, but we all made it. Snapped a few quick pics at the top, as we couldn't wait to get down and get something other than a Clif bar to eat!

Jersey seemed to have a good Canada Day too.
