The original plan was to go out in the boat, but when that fell through, we decided to go for a jaunt in the woods. We drove to the end of Mark Lane, just off Willis Point Road, to go hiking up this long trail to a beach that was pretty much deserted, except for a pair of ducks and a seagull who was dropping clams on the rocks.
Also many of these little guys...
Jersey, being rather self-indulgent, decided instead to treat himself to a day at the spa. He had his nails trimmed, got to sleep in his own room (cat cage), and even got a bit of a fur-cut...
..love the new "doo"....it makes Jersey look years younger!...
